SQ THERAPY



CHILD AND ADULT PSYCHOLOGY SERVICE

SQTherapy offers an independent clinical psychology service based in Central London within easy reach of Bond Street Station and Oxford Street Station. There is also a second clinic at the The London Independent Hospital in East London near Stepney Green Station.

SQTherapy is led by Dr Seema Quraishi, Clinical Psychologist and Chartered Psychologist, who has experience of working with adults, children, young people and their families.



ABOUT THERAPY

Therapy aims to help individuals and/or families who are experiencing emotional, psychological distress or developmental problems. It is hoped that therapy facilitates change; the aim is to help those involved to have a better understanding of their difficulties and to enable them to find ways to resolve or cope with life stresses, or other difficulties.



SERVICES OFFERED

SQTherapy offers two separate services:


1) Adult Service

SQTherapy works with both individuals on a 1:1 basis and with couples. Therapy is on an open-ended basis or for an agreed number of sessions, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and promote wellbeing.


2) Child, Adolescent and Family Service

The clinic offers an Assessment and Treatment psychology service to children, young people and their families facing emotional, behavioural or developmental problems

SQTherapy is child focussed and aims to enhance psychological and emotional wellbeing. Therapy aims to help children, young people and their families to find their own solutions to their problems. This is done by the psychologist talking things through with a child and his or her family. A range of evidence based assessments and treatments are used so that young people and their families are able to make the necessary changes in their lives.
